Just a thought with the reveal that Blue Beetle is really Everyman. Did only the heroes meet way too grisly ends in 52? Faust and Neron already being active in the DCU rendered Ralph Dibny's death meaningless and this guy's death wasn't even written with an out yet here he is without explanation and slightly cooler powers.
