Okay, for reals. Currently I am working in Security for a large media distributor.

The job I've held the longest was as a Technical Writer for a manufacturing company although twice was let go by said company. I enjoy that and would like to do it again but for now I have to pay the bills doing the security thing again. I previously worked as the head bouncer at a well known wild nightclub here (not 1st Ave) for a few years until my son was born and the owner closed the club. I also once worked for a period for Target as an APS or Asset Protection Specialist where I went through stores in plain clothes busting shoplifters. Also worked as a production worker in a box factory, night manager at Super America and first job was at Taco Bell at 15. Fun stuff.

Wasn't 2004 when they had that crushing financial loss and laid off a ton of people?

The situation's different right now; they're doing very well but they seem to be having trouble attracting people and keeping them on due to image problems (resulting from things like the EA_Spouse blog). I don't know what the turnover rate currently is, but it's supposedly very high.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been in the top 50 of any 1000 applicants with my abysmal GPA. If you reapplied, you might get in.
