I'm going to go with Ultimate War. I thought the fights between X-men and Ultimates were pretty good. Especially Colossus wailing on Thor.

For weakest I'd go with Ultimate Six. Peter hardly did anything. All that build up and then he just hits GG a few times at the end.

Best was probably the Galactus trilogy. And by best, I mean, the only one I could stand. Ultimate Six was such a disappointment, and I loathed Ultimate War.

i say ultimate war too. it was my first taste of the ult. x-men and the ultimates. my 2nd fave is ultimate nightmare. that one had some kick ass art

i thought ultimate six was pretty good tho. lots of actions and many new developments happened.

worst: the ultimate invasion aka ultimate garbage

I would say Ultimate Nightmare for me. Especially the change from cool 8 foot tall half ripped apart Vision to crappy "I'm in love with Falcon" Vision.

Yeah, Ultimate Six wasn't all it was cracked up to be. More Spider-Man and less Ultimates would have been good.

And there should have been a sixth member, dammit!

If the "Crossover" arc of Ultimate Fantastic Four doesn't count, I'll go with Ultimate War. It's not perfect (major battle scenes are left out), but it has some really great moments (Magneto setting up the battle, "We made him to be radar-proof!)

I also enjoyed Ultimate Six, and Ultimate Nightmare (Secret & Extinction not so much.)

I COMPLETELY forgot about Ultimate War. Who wrote that? I remember Bachalo's art, was it Millar?

There really haven't been that many yet. I didn't read the Galactus trilogy. Just didn't appeal if it wasn't going to effect Spidey.

I guess I'll go with Ultimate Six, but I read it in trades. Either way, I thought it was a solid chapter in the Peter vs. Norman Osborn epic.

yet to come.

I'm still wanting an Ultimate Secret War, but I guess I gotta say Ultimate Six was a cool read. Good stuff.

Captain America shot Wolverine with a machine gun.

Magneto shot Quicksilver...with a machine gun:-?

Eh it was alright.

The last issue of Ultimate Nightmare made the whole thing worth it. Totally.

My personal favorite though would have to be Ultimate Six.

Pass. although the Uncle Sam coming out of the Poster was kinda cool.

yeah. magneto punshes his kids, cap guns down "james", colossus pwns ironman, orthodox ninjas, and some great art, not for everyone, but i really dug it, lots of energy.

I think you're looking for the "Across the Universe" thread, it's next door.

I really enjoyed Ultimate Six and Ultimate Nightmare.

The fill-in art in Ultimate Secret really damaged the trilogy. I generally like Tom Raney, but it was too jarring a transition from McNiven.

And lots-of-bugs-Galactus was not nearly as cool as giant purple Galactus.

Ultimate War has been my favorite. I only read the final two arcs of the galactus trilogy, but I thought it was fun. I didn't like Ultimate Six at all.

Ultimate Six was just short of being perfect. Having Peter stand around and watch the Ultimates pummel HIS villains was lame.

But I love what Bendis has done with Spidey's rogues, overall. He's made them less into cartoons and more into the truly scary thugs they would actually be.

Ultimate War I love, actually. One of my favorite Ultimate comics. I really need to reread that.

I have to go with Ultimate War. I loved Bachalo on this. The book looked great and Millar was firing on all cylinders here.

I has such high expectations for Ultimate War, but it should've been called Ultimate Skirmash. The whole thing started out so well ,and sputtered out into nothing. The big fight read like a warm up to a big fight that never occured. I gotta go with the Gah Lack Tus trilogy. It was smart fun.
