It begins...not very good so far with that all too long Idol opener.

it would be a shame if they didn't do a bears superfan skit.

I just got her album. Catchy, fun pop for snobby fanboys. I like it.

Well, that goes without saying.
I've noticed that a lot less British artists are muting their accents these days.

Agreed. I'd LOVE to see Myers, Smigel, and Wendt with maybe Sanz (who was already making a cameo appearance as Elton John) playing the Farley role or something similar. Seriously SNL, how could you NOT do that sketch?

I missed the first thirty minutes.
I thought the Weekend Update was one of the strongest in years.
The musical guest was interesting, although I rarely caught her lyrics. I doubt the experience would have been different for me if she was singing another language.
I did like the Peter O Toole bit, and Elton John exchanging double entendres with Donatella Versaci. The last may have been the best moment from any of the Versaci parodies (not very difficult.)

She looked knocked up to me.
If she's not pregnant, that was a bad choice for a dress.

No.
closest was the Superbowl skit with Donatella Versace and Horatio Sanz's cameo as Elton John there wearing a Bears jersey.

Have they done a full-on Superfans skit since the death of Chris Farley?

The 80s style work out video was awesome. I loved the whole soft core porn feel they were going for.

I don't think they were going for a "soft core porn feel." I think they were just going for an "80s style work out video" feel.
