Not much talk about the game in this forum. How does everyone see it turning out?

I like the Colts by a couple of touchdowns, and probably under the 48 point Vegas total.

Seems safe enough a bet. Then again both teams were so incredibly unreliable this season. I wouldn't be much either way.

48 is the over/under? Wow, they're expecting a hell of a game.

This is all football, right?

I'd love to see the Colts win, but unfortunately, I've had it drilled into my mind that Defence wins superbowls, and Da Bear's dee is much better than the Colts.

Bears by 10. Take the under.

I'd probably take the over, though again I wouldn't bet big (I don't trust either team at all). The Superbowl is barely football though. The weather is almost always favorable to offenses. Neither defence gets the advantage of complete crowd control to disrupt the opposing offence's signals. 48 seems safe to me. And if you knew my betting record for this last year, that would be a signal to put everything on the under.

I see two possible results. Indy sucks in the big game again, Bears win, low scoring affair. Indy has the monkey off their back, they're relaxed Indy by a ho-jillion and the over.

I'm taking the points and the Bears, under.

I watch the half time show every year. I figure it's penance for the years sins.

My buds and me are planning on jamming during the halftime.

What songs do you think we should play?

The request line is open! (If it aint at least 15 years old, we probably wont know it. lol)

Prince is a preteneous prick. And I barely like his music. That said, the halftime show blows dogdick every year so this being the best ever is very possible.

Though it's hard to beat boobies...

Also some old guitar tabs I pulled out of the old ring binders:

"Games People Play" Alan Parsons
"Hit me with your best shot" Benatar
"house of the Rising sun" (if only NO was still in it I'd add Guthrie's "City of NO")
"Orange Crush" REM
"warchild" Tull
"Bad Co" Bad Co
"Rebel Yell" B. Idol
"Born to Run" Springsteen (for the Bears Offense. lol)
"Only the good die young" B. Joel (for Grossman)
"Death or Glory" Clash (For Manning)

So, for the first time in about two and a half years, I have actually bet money on a sporting event.

I only put money on sport starting last season. I had an online account and eventually something fucked up and I could no longer add funds so I only had the little I had in the account to play with. I emptied the account at the start of this season, putting it on Man Utd to win the english premiership title, and got fantastic odds (6-1) (anyone need an explanation? is betting different in america?) and it's looking good at the minute for a win at the minute. :)

(anyone need an explanation? is betting different in america?) It's only The Beggar's betting schemes which require explanation.

I used to be completely apathetic about Prince. Maki was really into him, though, and when he came around for a concert a while back, I went along with her. It was probably one of the best concerts I've seen. Fantastic production levels, incredible performances, and despite performing to the whole of Key Arena, Prince managed to be very warm, personable, and engaging. I think everyone left there feeling like they were personal friends with Prince after the show...
