So okay, since going freelance in June I've been constantly behind the eight-ball, running a week or two late on things and scrambling to pay bills before the go into collections.

SOMEHOW I get ROBO #4 finished last Friday and have nearly and entire WEEK to relax, work on Hexbreakers, and do some prelim sketches for these steampunk cyborgs in ROBO #5.

And then my fucking washing machine explodes.

As you may recall, my washer and I are BFF, and I literally spend more time with it that I do with my family.

So I'm doing a load last night and SOMETHING goes wrong inside the beast -like a combat boot got tucked up behind the drum or something.

So, I'll be spending my "down time" playing the Maytag Man -luckily I've put on enough weight as a full-time artists that I actually am starting to look like that fat old fucker.

No damn time off for good behavior . . .

Exactly what I thought, too. Luckily, that didn't happen.

I'd be more concerned that you're BFFs with a washing machine!

Steve -don't be a racists. :P

I dunno Tom. Your idea that Robo could just nuke the bacon strips out of my undies is semi-appealing. Awesome Sig BTW! 2 more months and I get to work on KoD again. Rightious!

Turns out that the machine is fucked. So maybe I will build something out of its useless carcass.

Shit, I didn't even think of Craig's List for this.

My entire art studio is off of Craig's List for $30. Oh well, I like the idea of a 4yr warranty on big stuff like this. Yeah, yeah that's it. Sure.

I've never understood how so many Americans can't be bothered with buying this basic appliance...and then crap their pants with joy when they do, as if they'd just discovered how to make fire. :)
