I like the Wii marketing campaign... the tv ads. I like it enough that I'd like to go on record as saying that I was wrong and the name of the box is fine fitting into those ads as it does.

I was just remembering that a lot of us, especially me, bitched a lot when we heard the name... and now there's these fun ads with the cool music and wee little...er wii little men roaming the countryside side demoing their console.

I wondered which ads you'd seen. The "Wii would like to play" stuff is pretty interesting.

There are others? It's also a clever system of switching up which games they're showing.

I just never know what is actually out there. We were hearing that music in the Treehouse for about a month before the campaign launched... That stuff I did in Portland is supposed to be for an in-store campaign that I haven't seen yet, too. Hell, I haven't even seen the final cuts of those segments.

I wish I could get that music piped through our office on a loop. It would be a fitting backround to the sort of craziness that's been going on.

I want to work in a place that has a specified area called "treehouse."

I've always suspected it was ironic, as we're in the center of the building behind locked doors and with no windows.

Well, that changes things. IT sounds more fun than it is. I at least have a window nearby me.

We do have jars of hunney tempting us throughout the day, though. If only it weren't for those damned bees.

Yeah, any place that has a cutsey name or honorific name is just trying to offset how completely miserable and soul crushing the actual working conditions are. Or at least, that's how I've always seen it.

I was looking for something else entirely when I stumbled across another track from this album. I was curious since I'd never heard these guys before, so I started listening to samples of the other tracks.

Boom -- Wii commercial music.

I finally got my Wii this week, work got some more in so I grabbed one. Played some sports with the wife, had fun. Wife has pretty much been dominating it since then playing Pikmin 2. I have Warioware, but haven't had a chance to play it yet.
