Cinematic Comfort Food...

Had a bad day today. Got some news that is really depressing me.

To combat it, I am now watching "Heartbreak Ridge" for probably the 7,000th time. And it occured to me that I watch certain movies/TV shows like other people have "comfort food".

Anyone have something similar?

What I love most about watching them is a) it's more than 10 hours of entertainment, b) they're varied in tone, content and quality, and most importantly c) I've watched them so many times I can get up and do something and my mind just fills in the blanks.

Can't believe I forgot that, but I will absolutely watch it at the drop of a hat. In fact, I found my first roommate when he and I were working retail, unloading a truck, and somehow got to quoting Flash Gordon almost to the level of reciting the entire movie. Uber geek-out, and creepy, honestly. If he was a chick, I'd have had to marry him.
