Crackdown Demo (Xbox 360)

The demo is up on Live. I went into this expecting nothing. I played it for a good long time. Imagine a GTA-style game with good shooting mechanics, nice player mobility, a 1980's near-apocalyptic super cop sci-fi action movie sensability, and a narrator guy who just kicks ass. I came away impressed. It might still be more of a renter than a keeper, but I'm looking forward to playing the full game.

The only thing I didn't like about the demo was that once I gained a couple levels in a skill, it gave me a time limit. Other than that, it was fucking awesome.
