I gotta go with Brother Ray, but I'm a Georgia boy who grew up on a lot of his music, so I may be slightly biased.

Yeah, haven't lived there in a very long time, but I miss it terribly sometimes. Hopefully some day, I'll get the means to move back to Atlanta or something. I grew up most of my life here in Kentucky, but Georgia's still the only place that feels like home.

Spent 23 years (my whole life pretty much) In GA. I am now in the great state of CO but I Miss my Thunder Storms and the Trees. Also, Savannah is like the coolest city in America.

Are we pitting them against each other because they are both blind black men?
Tough call. On one hand I want to say that Ray Charles was more innovative, more of a boundary-pusher...but his catalog can't even come close to competing with Stevie Wonder's '70s albums. His music output during the 1970s is absolutely mind-blowingly amazing.

Yep. And the fact that they're both awesome

That is such a difficult question. I love 'em both.
But if I had to choose, I'd say Stevie. Ray Charles is a legend and all praise for him is well deserved, but I enjoy Stevie's stuff just a little bit more.

I don't get how it's possible to hate Stevie Wonder. I mean, the man is a genius at creating songs to make you smile.

I find his voice and singing style beyond grating.

its all about the head roll that all blind musicians do, and stevie has the awesome hair to really bring it into full effect, so he wins...
