I finally read the story, decided to wait until all the issues came out, then another 8 did before I found time to actually read it. Sad I know.
I have to say this was a GREAT story! The art was stunning, very clean, just beautiful work, and it's been hard going from your stuff to Zircher's. Ellis opened up with an interesting story, definitely one of his best mainstream character super hero stories, that adds to the character of Stark and Iron Man (not sure how I felt about the updating of his origin, mainly because you do it once, you'll have to keep on, better to not place it in a certain time period in my opinion).
Any chance you will be doing interior work? I love the covers you have been providing the series, but I sure wouldn't complain to see you release an original graphic novel or mini-series for Marvel.

I am working on something rather big at the moment, full on interiors and covers. It will not be out for quite a while so it won't be announced until San Diego (or so I think).

Loved the art and covers !
Great story by Ellis, as well.
Any more Iron Man in the works, Adi ?

Oh man, Extremis was so great. I really love the detail and expression you manage to have in every panel. I also love the cinematic quality of your work. That fight between Iron Man and the Enhancile on the highway was fantastic. I remember asking you at a Con (this was two years ago) in Toronto if your art work was computer generated and when you replied in the resoundingly negative I was stunned.
In any event, you do some very fine work, sir. I'm very excited to see the new project you say you have coming out.

Count me among those who really enjoyed your artwork, too. It fits Iron Man's cool and slick costume wonderfully, but also did wonders for Tony Stark, who really looked like a distinct character rather than the somewhat generic depiction he's usually given. In that regard, I noticed that most of your characters have very clear facial features, and as one in particular looked rather familiar, I thought to ask: did you model the sadly-decapitated girl (see below) after an existing person? I've been discussing it with friends and we weren't able to come up with a satisfying conclusion. Can you tell us who, if indeed anyone, she was based on?

Mostly my wife... The bad guy is largely based on me, and my wife served as a model for both Maya and this girl, although very much altered to suit the characters.

Hah! Thanks for the reply. That is really cool to hear... We (or, at least, I) had the bad guy pegged as a young and tweaked Charles Grodin(!), while the girl caused quite a stir, and caused the suggestion of a bunch of people ranging from Melissa Etheridge to Jennifer Tilly to Tia Carrere to Tracey Gold - so the alterations you made certainly worked. :) It turned into a mini-thing on our (Dutch) blog over here (http://www.bronstigemangoest.nl/pivot/entry.php?id=263) as well as at another Dutch blog, right here (http://www.mijnkopthee.nl/archive/2007/02/22/onbekende_mejuffrouw). Thanks for helping us out! Looking forward to your next project!

i've used Extremis to get many-a-friend into taking mainstream comics seriously. the vivid realism of your work lent really well to Ellis' usual managarie of drug-fueled post-punk Terrence Mckenna inspired conspiracy thoery. i was a big fan of both the story and the art. awsome job, loved the simpleness of the goth girl's execution, it was simplistic and very none-chalant, which made it incredibly frightening and disturbing.
