I am a bit confused. Infinity Gauntlet was years after Secret Wars. Is that really Secret War, or is the story somewhat nonlinear?

I still haven't read that issue, but the thread got me thinking. Galactic Storm could be a good thinking, Galactic Storm could provide good material if Illuminati is ever revisited. It could have been a good companion to Civil War since Iron Man and Captain America were at such odds. It also dealt with the issue of whether it is ever acceptable for heroes to kill. The story involved Xavier's girlfriend, or wife or whatever. I think there was even a line in the story about Namor not showing up. Perhaps there was a reason for that.
