I woke up late. Had a lovely migrane all last night. Today my brain feels as if it has given birth and is a bit flappy.

I'm home sick today. Head full of cold medicine. zoning in and out of consciousness. Used about a full box of tissue paper (No jokes! :lol:)

Watching the Dark Angel marathon on scifi.

mmmm Scotch.. I have some Glen Morangie just up in the cupboard.... but that is so far away...

I once got a free bottle of Glen Morengie. It was at the end of a shitty day during Diablo 2 testing...or possibly the expansion. I drove to the grocery store...the one thing apart from a few friends that I miss about California is the ability to buy liquor at the grocery store...and bought a steak, fixings for a salad, some assorted items to cook with the steak, and a bottle of Glen Morengie. It seemed way too cheap as I walked out, but I was too beaten by the day to add it up until I was driving back. When I got home I cheked the receipt and sure enough the whisky had not been run up. The universe seemed to correct itself just that once.

Yeah, adjusting to making a special trip for booze instead of just thinking "oh yeah, I need rum" while in Ralphs has taken some effort.

I haven't had any good scotch in quite some time. Maybe I'll make one of those special trips tomorrow.
